- PRIMARY NAVIGATION ZONES
Years back we were told 'people don't have relationships with websites—they have relationships with other people'. Good point. So here we are.
'Please allow us to introduce ourselves…'
'Operators are waiting to take your call now!' is not our style, and we're a small currently-tiny team which probably won't get much larger.
Much of the work is covered by 'a network of trusted associates'—talented, experienced individuals & organizations who know their stuff and upon whom we call for specific requirements.
And, with people doing their stuff from 'wherever', there's also no big building where we park our autos and hang out at the water cooler.
So, the 'we' line-up is…
gulliver.
['Inexcusably pretentious name-change-thing'… that's my whole name and the lower case 'g' is correct. Most folk call me 'g' or 'gully'. Whatever.]
Established in 1956, I've 'been around, done some stuff'.
A business developer, through consults and ventures I design & build & repair commercial enterprises by providing strategic guidance & practical support. (Just a fancy way of saying I tell people what to do and help them do it.)
Based in England, I work internationally—but would far rather be relaxing in the garden.
Although I'm the lunatic left-fielder who kick-started this, my role here is supposed to be 'stay out of the way and, using the experience & contacts & perspective I've developed during 30-or-so years of doing business stuff, provide appropriate guidance & other input in a non-frontline role'.
But that's something I've not yet been able to do, and currently I'm far too prominent.
Joe Gulliver.
'Another fine mess you've gotten me into', I'm here because my father asked me to be, suggesting it'd be a good thing to learn business stuff.
I skipped that whole University-and-9-5-career thing, so I'm hoping this'll enable me to work a few hours each morning and play my guitar in the afternoon.
My role here is to do what's required to help develop things.
