To twit, or not to twit (or is that tweet?).

Our Twitter use… we won't, but you can.

'Oh boy, this'll make us really popular…' such is the price of authenticity.

Although we may sometimes post things related to the 'What are you doing?' question, that's likely the nearest we'll come to using Twitter in the 'accepted' sense.

Instead, we'll use it as the flimsiest excuse to attempt to proselytize readers with our heavily biased agenda.

Although some of us have (and use) individual Twitter accounts, for Twitter.com/Innerpreneur we're keeping things clear and simple.

Our intended use is one-way—announcing appropriate (genuinely worthwhile) stuff that'll get us more attention and boost site traffic.

Currently (this may change) we have no plans to follow anyone. Let's rephrase that: we have plans to not follow anybody.

Why? Honestly? We can't be bothered.

If 'we' were an individual wanting to be chatty, maybe we'd participate more fully. But we're not, so we won't.

'Go along to get along', we could simply keep quiet about this… politely following everyone who follows us, and then use software to filter them out.

Undoubtedly, such sneakiness would gain traffic for us. But why feign interest just for commercial advantage? It's just too selfish and timid to contemplate.

Although our Innerpreneur account covers several individual projects, each with various people (or one madcap with multiple personality disorder), and communication could almost certainly quickly get tangled and confused, we could make the effort to handle this.

But, being 'not bothered', we won't. Honestly, we've better things to do with our time and energy… like developing a suite of Innerpreneur-oriented projects.

Follow us? If you want to, thanks. We're genuinely thankful to have your interest in what we publish here, there or elsewhere. And, if you do, we'll check your link and, if you're doing something which interests us, visit your site, take your RSS feed, perhaps contact you directly, etcetera.

Retweets? If you find worth in what we're doing, yes, please do. Spread the message.

If you do @replies to stuff we post, that's entirely your own affair. And, we'd rather you didn't. We won't reply. Why? We prefer to keep the page clean for less-sophisticated viewers who arrive at Twitter.com/Innerpreneur. And, if it's cluttered with our replies to your stuff, it'll soon get a mess.

Send direct messages to us? Please don't. Use email instead, it has advantages.
