Hijack, meet Jill.

Becoming influential.

The term Innerpreneur is still relatively unknown, and was originally used in a manner which could be considered a semi-mocking stereotype.

So our strategy is simple:

Seize a little known term, assume ownership, redefine it into something more meaningful, and develop widespread acceptance as a genuine 'practical activists'  force for change  societal influence.

Our plan for this site is very simple: To be the go-to place for 'that stuff'.

Practically, read this as:

'Intensify your niche and carve out a territory.'

More succinctly… 'capture markets—not segments'.

Of course this is arrogant, and entirely viable. Currently there's no 'competition' as such (and this should never be a competitive situation). Tara, here briefly, has chosen to return to her original stuff, which is very different to what's happening here, and so I don't see a clash happening as she's going along a much softer tribe-oriented path.

That's an option I ruled-out at an early stage, favoring the relatively harsher 'practical activists' route, albeit much harder to successfully pull-off than a tribe-thing.

And, in continuing this direction, it's almost certain that the originally-envisaged differences between this and the DifferentBusiness project will become much less.

Already we feature significant chunks of copy from that site, the re-launch of which I've again  delayed  shelved in favor of continuing my work here.

So, whereas a month-or-so ago I was in favor of sidelining this site and focusing on DifferentBusiness, things have switched and I'll continue to see just if and how the two can merge into a sensible hybrid.
