Where do we go from here?

Who dares cares, wins?

Let's revisit the close of 'Ninepins.' and try to move things ahead, specifically my decision to step back into my originally stated 'provide appropriate guidance & other input in a non-frontline role' and have less to do with the day-to-day stuff here.

It could be a good move, both personally (for me) and commercially (for the Innerpreneur-oriented projects).

I made clear in 'Ninepins.' that a stance softer than that with which I'm comfortable may be more appropriate to develop our projects. And that's something T and K should be able to do much better than me with my very firm punches-not-pulled 'do not be expecting Cary Grant with a briefcase' no-nonsense m-o. They're both softer, and care & dare less than I do, and so are better-suited to the activity.

And in 'Wake-up, wise-up!' I voiced my concern at much of the current Innerpreneur sector (those openly associating with the term), many of whom do business on inappropriate 'we're like each other' markers in which whether the service provider is any damn good is barely a consideration.

Instead of bothering to learn and do good stuff, they'll faff-around with 'business advice' dross peddled by each other. Whatever they say to the contrary, most of 'em want to take the easy route, and seem to prefer hangin' around in tight cliques feelin' cool about themselves rather than doing anything of significance.

Hell, rather than could-be-a good-force-for-change, most are merely living-out Rentel's semi-mocking stereotype which, along with themselves, they've taken waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay-too seriously.

Clearly, I'm not enamored with things. Do I really want to bother to pick a fight with Innerpreneur-types, firming-up the currently flabby ideal into something likely to be respected rather than ridiculed? Yes. And no.

Regardless of that, my 'do things decently and properly' view is undoubtedly an impediment to developing projects in a sector where the dominant desire appears to be 'let's all cosy-up to each other', and for which I have no interest or good word.
