Ninepins.

Another one bites the dust.

'Another day, another development', let's follow swiftly-on from yesterday's 'She's gone', and specifically the line about 'most decisions are reversible or can at least be followed by another and different decision to achieve that result'.

First though, a sidebar.

The best businesses are dynamic… they're always moving, doing stuff, trying things—much of which doesn't work. Such bias for action recognizes…

The best decision is a right one, the worst decision is to not make one, and being wrong is somewhere between the two.

Unless you're a superhero or inactive, you'll be wrong a helluva lot more than you'll be right—get used to it.

So do something, make things happen. It's inaction that kills you.

Yesterday we ran with: 'Tara is no longer active here. Mutually-beneficial potential having thus-far not been achieved, I've decided to not continue the relationship.'

Along with the 'most decisions are reversible or…' clip, the 'firm action now can be beneficial' close of that piece offered scene II clues for adept thinkers and read-between-the-line-rs. Which part of 'restart and reboot yourself' did you not get?

Will she be back? Dunno. I hope so. From a business/respect viewpoint, in some ways she got closer to me than almost any others everybody else. And, over a thirty-year period, that's quite some fuckin' accolade. 'twould be a pity to waste it.

But don't mistake this for an about-turn, an 'oh sorry, let's hug and carry on'. That'd be useless. In find-and-fix the problems, develop something different and better, more-of-the-same isn't on the agenda.

There are still potentially mutually incompatible basic differences in intent and activity (her stuff is soft, mine is hard) between us, and which may be unresolvable.

Did she do enough whilst here? No. That's one problem. And I did too much. That's problem two. One alone is bad enough. Together, the two can only have one conclusion.

'Great collaboration is like romance, it cannot be routine and predictable', of course you'll have fall-outs. Fuck, you should see the stuff my missus and I get into with each other.

'Tempestuous?' It's all a part of that 'injecting real people into the show, with a little drama' thing.
